On August 31, President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko held a meeting with the participation of the creators of the Belarusian electric car, which recommended the developers to use the Tesla machine created by Ilona Mask as a sample.
Lukashenko said that he tested the “last model” , and shared his impressions.
“He starts like a spaceship, and even more powerful. In two and a half seconds - 100 kilometers. But I was interested in how he was holding the road - perfectly, ”said the president of Belarus.
According to Lukashenko, in the near future, cars with internal combustion engines will be in less demand.
“This is [electric cars] the future, we cannot lag behind. We cannot, with our competencies, with such a science, weave in the tail, ”the president said.
“We need an electric car. Maybe at that factory, maybe separately. You will be with the Americans, with the Germans or the British to create it - your business. You must make proposals in the near future, ”the head of state entrusted.
