Medvedev replaced the head of "Rossetei"

The new general director of Rossete will be Pavel Livinsky. This was announced by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, Interfax reports.

Now Livinsky is heading the Department of Housing and Communal Services of Moscow. At a meeting with him on August 31, Medvedev noted that he should join a new position after the board of directors of Rosseteus is held.

“I will give the directive to sign,” Medvedev added.

As the Prime Minister noted, Rosseti are of great importance from the point of view of the development of the entire Russian economy, and Livinsky has experience in the energy sector. He has been working in the metropolitan energy system since 2006, and before that he held senior positions in large energy companies in the regions of the Russian Federation.

In June, Reuters sources reported that the current Rossete general general Oleg Budargin may soon resign. The main contender for his post, the agency’s interlocutors were then called a member of the Board of Directors of Rossetei, the first deputy head of the VEB, Mikhail Poluboyarinov.

Rosseti holding was created in mid -2013 with the aim of managing all the country's energy sections. In 2016, the holding earned over 900 billion rubles.
