Russia has an amazing thousand-year past, a brilliant, although not very certain future, but clearly with the predominance of artificial intelligence, and a completely absent present, because there is absolutely nothing to present. By the mention of passionarity, one can understand that after the president was regaled with the works of Ivan Ilyin, they began to feed him with the works of Lev Gumilyov. This says a lot about which characters have a “spiritual” influence on Putin and why chimerical “sovereignty” is more important for Putin than development: Gumilyov’s poorly digested theory of ethnogenesis leads an unprepared soul, as a rule, to extreme nationalism.

True, there are two snags. The first is that the ladies selected by the administration are not known to anyone at all. The second is that their ideology is such that they cannot oppose the president, they can only rush into the future in his convoy. Take, for example, Irina Volynets, the chairman of the so-called National Parents' Committee. In appearance, this is such a “legally blonde” with an Aryan look of cold blue eyes. Open sources attribute her participation in some kind of movement founded by a major national-patriotic graphomaniac Nikolai Starikov, which forever marks people and their views. And in what way can she compete with the president? What disagreements could she have with him? No answer. As John Lennon sang on a slightly different occasion: "Woman, I can hardly express."

Maybe look for competitors among the progressive youth? Find some young man who will be fascinated by another "Direct Line"? But what will he argue with the president about if he loves him more than Google?

At the exit, we have: an overdried turnout - at least put it in a herbarium; the competition of the father of the nation, turning into the talkative grandfather of the nation, with the girl of the nation - but this is not an election, but some kind of cartel conspiracy; the formation of a corporatist state, where all gender and social groups are divided into "phalanxes", dressed in colored T-shirts, sorted and taken under control; fighting for youth as electoral “meat” for the period 2018–2024 and beyond; lack of desire to modernize the extremely inefficient political and economic system that has been built, a sure sign of which is the search (with dogs and under the lamp) for the image of the future; reduction of the modernization agenda exclusively to the technological one - as a result, we will have the idea of ​​​​returning sharashkas (so far there are only shabashki).

“In order for us to continue to maintain our sovereignty,” Russian President Putin was worried, “to make the lives of our people and future generations, your children and grandchildren, better than today, we need to achieve qualitative progress.” We have already heard this somewhere. Alexander Zinoviev, in the early 1970s, describing a political regime similar to today's, put the following phrase into the mouth of one of his heroes: "We are moving forward, far ahead of our ass."
