Each denounces other people's bitch sons and waves his own.
This was unofficially explained to him from above. And for some reason he immediately believed in such explanations. But the internationalism made by the official Soviet religion (suggesting, by the way, that the atrocities in any country concern the whole world) rejected easily and at ease. And not only because of the falsehood of the Isolent Soviet propaganda. It is curious that when it was not necessary to follow the feigned Soviet internationalism, all the popular periodicals that existed in the USSR specialized in the coverage of political life abroad, either disappeared or re -qualified on internal topics.
It turned out that, contrary to the myths of the "world's responsiveness of the Russian soul," the Russian is deeply indifferent to the suffering of the children of Africa, Asia and Latin America. And the point is not that in the 90s he was clearly not up to them because of his own problems. Under the thin film of Soviet internationalism, there was a belief that has much more ancient roots: this is not our business, because any cannibal who mocking the subordinate population is “in its own right”. Because any power is sacred and not indifferent.
This deep conviction completely coincided with the attitudes of the new Russian government. Her line in the international arena is a consistent protection of any, even the most odious dictatorial regimes from pressure from other countries and international organizations. It was the Sabotage from the Russian Federation that turned the UN into a useless speaker, unable to do at least something real for curbing the most severe state violence in at least some country.
It is the Russian Federation who, together with the PRC, has been blocking the adoption of the UN resolution for the oppression of the Rohingja people in Myanmar for many years. If it becomes clear during preliminary culuar discussions that it is not possible to agree on a position, the draft resolution often simply does not reach the vote. It was this that Alexei Navalny drew attention to, who sarcastically advised the worried Rohinge's rights to Muslims to rally not at the Embassy of Myanmar, but from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. And he reproached Ramzan Kadyrov who called for rallies - he, they say, pretends not to notice the Kremlin’s responsibility for the tragedy of Rohingya, and is afraid to directly oppose the vile policy of the Russian Federation. However, Kadyrov immediately rattled this reproach, saying: "If Russia will support these shaitans who commit crimes, I am against the position of Russia."
By the way, even before Kadyrov’s statement, the completely subcrevian mufti of Dagestan condemned the rally of protest in Makhachkala as "going against the official position of the Russian government." And now they are ready to defend the honor and dignity of "our Putin", whom Kadyrov publicly humiliated. Forced not to use force. Our retreating progressive public easily forgets such things. Therefore, the ominous words sound at a rally in Grozny: "Let the Russians remember!" Speak, is this a rally not about Myanmar at all? Yes, this is a rally about those cut ears. The share of the population of the Chechen Republic, who died during the last two captive, colonial wars of Russian imperialism, is comparable with the share of the population of the USSR, which died during the war with Hitler. The share of the inhabitants of the Chechen Republic, stolen and brutally killed by the mysterious "death squadrons" after the end of hostilities, is comparable with the share of citizens of the USSR, executed in 1937-1938. And you ask why not about Myanmar.
No matter how monstrous the totalitarian-terrorist regime of Kadyrov, but he stopped the random mass terror of Russian interventionists. The terrible price of betrayal. He replaced him with electoral terror against his opponents. But in comparison with the direct power of the Russian military, this was progress in the field of human rights. That is why the mass support of Kadyrov in the Chechen Republic is reality , not imitation. And if the Kremlin tries to treat it as just the governor of the conquered province, he will again encounter the resistance of the Chechen people. With or without Kadyrov, the Chechen Republic will never be headed by the Russian governor.
Kadyrov is an exclusively intrachen problem. For a century, we lost the right to divide the Chechens into bad and good. But they have the right to not divide us into bad and good. They divide us into useful and useless. And only considerations of usefulness force Kadyrov to support the illusion of the stay of the Chechen Republic in Russia.
