Since August 25, when the next escalation of a long -term conflict between the authorities and the Muslim minority of Rohingya occurred in Myanmar. Ramzan Kadyrov began to receive the appeals of Russian Muslims demanding to intervene in the situation.
Positioning himself as the leader of the Russian Ummah and the main defender of Islam, Kadyrov could not ignore these appeals. On September 2, a video blog was placed on his Instagram.
In his assessments of what is happening, Kadyrov was in joint with an international human rights community, who believes that the actions of the Myanmar authorities fall under the definition of genocidal and contribute to a humanitarian catastrophe. But - frankly dispersed with the foreign policy position of Russia on this issue: “They say that Russia has imposed a veto there,” Kadyrov explains to his subscribers. - I still can’t understand where it is and who says and where this paper ... and even if Russia will support the shaitans who are committing crimes today, I am against the position of Russia. Because I have my own vision, my own position. I am more than sure that today no one will support the killers, rapists. But there are certain nuances of state policy, and we must be understood with how statesmen, politicians behave ... "
In response to the naive request of the subscriber in social networks, to send the army to the Muslims of Rohing, Kadyrov (we must see with what sincere regret) answered: “It is impossible to send troops there, because it is the prerogative of the state ... as you want, it is impossible to do. If there was my will, there would be an opportunity, I would even <bomb> there even <threw ”. I would destroy people who kill children, women, old people ... Do you think they will change their position? No, there is power there. Strength can only change the situation ... "
Ramzan Kadyrov also made justified claims to the Russian media, which ignored the conflict in Myanmar (over the past few days, the conflict led to mass casualties among the civilians and provoked a huge number of refugees). In general, the head of Chechnya recognized his powerlessness to influence the situation: “... they say, tomorrow ( September 3. - E. M. ) a rally will be held at the Embassy of <Myanmas in Moscow> ... Those who say that the rally should be held, nothing will change from this. But for everyone to calm down, spoke out, I am ready to hold a rally in Grozny ... I invite you to all. Tomorrow it will not work, the day after tomorrow ( September 4. - E. m. **) in Grozny we will hold a large rally near the mosque. But nothing will change from this, we are just to calm the soul ... "
The next day after the posting of the video blog Kadyrov, several hundred Muslims of different nationalities really gathered at the Embassy of Myanmar in Moscow.
They demanded from the Russian authorities (and even signed a petition) to prevent "murders, torture, and burning people at the fire of the Buddhist regime." The action took place without excesses both from the protesters and from the police, which did not disperse an unauthorized rally.
In politically, it is difficult to overestimate the meaning of this action: this is the first spontaneous, in the very center of Moscow, the public political statement of Russian Muslims, which is going against Russian international politics.
The demand for these people can only be welcomed. As well as the observance by the police and the city authorities of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, guaranteeing everyone the right to freedom of expression of their opinion. However, in social networks (their non -Muslim segment), this action caused a stream of Xenophobic statements and the Russian authorities insulting for the police and the Russian authorities (on one of them an employee of the Russian police was depicted by a praying Muslim, on the other - President Putin with a living lamb on his head is on September 1 to school).
People who, not so long ago, spontaneously gathered near the Basmanny court in defense of Kirill Serebrennikov, who have been demanding freedom of assembly and observing human rights for many years, for some reason refused this right to other citizens of their country. The religion of the audience did not arrange?
Or their requirements for the country's leadership, which has a real opportunity to influence the UN Security Council on a really terrifying situation in Myanmar? Or is it a resentment of unstable and shock because the police sometimes know how to behave humanly?
Many saw here the unambiguous fear of Moscow in front of Kadyrov (Chechens who participated in the protest rally said that they learned about the action from the video blog of the head of Chechnya).
However, Ramzan Kadyrov was not the organizer of the protest rally near the Embassy of Myanmar in Moscow, and
He agreed to a rally in Grozny rather, so as not to drop his authority of the “main defender of Muslims”.
On September 3, to all the heads of the administrations of the Chechen districts, the heads of the budgetary institutions, directors of educational institutions, the heads of police department, prosecutor's office, etc. They reported the usual ordering about the delegation of subordinates for a rally on September 4 in Grozny. So, for example, each Chechnya Pension Fund Department had to be sent to a rally of 20 people, from the district police departments - from 40 to 60 people. On September 4, according to the residents of Chechnya, schools and even kindergartens were closed in the republic. Families were recommended to leave children at home in the care of one woman, and everyone else to attend a rally. People could not catch a taxi to get to Grozny. The entire center of Grozny was cordoned off, from the central market “Berkat”, people walked on foot to the square in front of the mosque “Heart of Chechnya”.
But by 11 o’clock the square remained unfit. The same, with the propelled rods, she remained throughout the rally, which was easy to notice by video broadcasting, which led the Grozny TV channels and the RT channel. The federal Russian media “Million -Minor rally” in Grozny almost did not pay attention to.
The Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs announced a million participants, but in fact, the area, which, with the most optimistic calculation, is a fourth part of the 14 hectares of the entire complex of the Chechnya Heart mosque can hardly accommodate only 150,000 people. At the rally on September 4, probably, there were not even one hundred thousand. The small number of the meeting is clearly visible on the shooting of the drone.
On this day in Grozny it was very hot. Many came not only with posters (all of them were made qualitatively, in one image and likeness, which once again spoke of organization, and not about the spontaneity of the rally), but also with umbrellas in order to somehow protect themselves from the sun. It was forbidden to carry water to the rally for safety reasons.
The children who stood in the first lines at the stage with the flags of Chechnya in their hands are very quickly tired. The camera grabbed a boy who almost cries, trying to scoop the flag of an adult standing next to him. In order to at least somehow be saved from the heat, the protesters use campaign materials as a dough.

The crowd and the rally was instructed to warn the adviser to the head of Chechnya on religious issues to Adam Shahidov. For half an hour, he forced people to shout forty times “La Ilyakh Ill Llah” (a declaration of faith in Islam, literally - “There is no God except Allah”), and then make 100 Salavats (praises of the Prophet). However, the “millionth rally” answered rather sluggishly, and almost every speaker spurred people to react more actively.
So, the speaker of the parliament Magomed Daudov began by reporting those present for unworthy behavior: “Today we went out to make the Muslims in Myanmar receive our prayer from us. So! I ask everyone who goes back and forth there to stop their walking. And pray for our brothers <in Myanmar>, in which the heat is even stronger than ours. Remember our condition when we needed this support. Thanks to Akhmat-Haji <Kadyrov> we are flourishing today. And therefore, they must shout about the freedom of Muslims! .. Youth urge not to ask in social networks there for war and the fight against violence. We must call youth to sobriety. This is 6000 kilometers <from us>, do not be deceived. I would do it myself if it were permissible. We can help our brothers only with prayer and verses from the Qur'an ... "
I must say that literally a couple of days before that, Magomed Daudov in the comments on Instagram Ramzan Kadyrov literally provoked young people to go to the aid of the brothers:
“Vallah1 and I give a word to anyone to buy a ticket to the nearest airport to Burma, you just throw off a copy of the passport and the date of the trip there to me in direct.”

And then he wrote: “As expected! No one wants a free ticket to Burma! Everyone wants to fight on the Internet ”( *Spelling and punctuation of the author. - *e. M. ). However, when one person nevertheless sent Daudov a passport and asked to buy a ticket, the speaker of the Chechen parliament sent a turning ... to make a Burmese visa.

The speakers spoke briefly about the situation in Myanmar at a rally of solidarity with the Muslims of Rohingge. Basically, the merits of Kadyrov and his father were praised. So, Mufti Karachay-Cherkessia thanked Kadyrov for taking care of believers. The representative of the Ingush delegation - "for giving freedom and peace to the Chechens." The Mufti Stavropol began his speech by “he was lucky to study in Bukhara along with Kadyrov-Strash,” and ended with gratitude to the leader of the “great and formidable Chechen people” because he “builds such houses and high-rise buildings that are nowhere to do.” Muslims in Myanmar Mufti Stavropol managed not to say a word.
Finally, according to the leading rally of Adam Shahidov, “Defender of the Sunn of the Prophet Muhammad”, “The son of the legendary Great Shahid” Ramzan Kadyrov “illuminated us with his presence”.
Ramzan Kadyrov did not play long. What is atypical: he began his performance by reading the prepared text in Russian. Having briefly outlined the terrifying reprisals against the Muslims of Rohingya, Kadyrov traditionally accused the “West and the UN”, as well as the whole world of “he silently observes this genocide.”
“The first persons of Western countries are ready to protect the rights of even one person of non -traditional orientation, but they are speechless when entire nations are destroyed. This position causes indignation and the anger of all people of goodwill. So it cannot continue further. Today, and millions of inhabitants of different countries, we demand from the leaders of world powers to stop this bloodshed. We demand the punishment of guilty and international investigation of crimes against humanity. It is urgent to stop the humanitarian catastrophe and extend the hand of helping the dying people of Rohingya ... "

So Kadyrov, without suspecting it, supported the position of those members of the UN Security Council, who believe that the situation in Myanmar requires the intervention of external forces. And, in fact, he solidarized with the draft resolution on Myanmar prepared by Great Britain. This document calls for international humanitarian organizations to access the areas of compact residence of Muslims for assistance to victims.
At the stage of preliminary consultations, this draft resolution was blocked by two members of the UN Security Council - China and Russia.
