In Yekaterinburg, the court fined activists for a protest walk in July

The Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Yekaterinburg made decisions on administrative cases of detainees during a “walk of free people” on July 23. Vladimir Khusainov, Igor Negov, Sergey GUDOV and Rafael Shepelev under Part 5 of Art. 20.2 Administrative Code (violation of the procedure for holding a public event) was fined 10 thousand rubles. Meetings on similar cases regarding Elena Parii and Viktor Baldin were postponed to September 15 and 13, respectively. The ATD-Info was reported by the phone by the activist of the Yekaterinburg for Freedom movement Elena Shukaeva.

All six were detained on July 23 after the action in the format of a walk in a cafe on the territory of the Cosmos restaurant complex. Pari and Baldin left the police at night. The next day, in court, the Pari fainted , after which she was taken to the hospital, and then returned to the department. When the Pari was released from the department, the police said that they would “close” her if she did not come to a court hearing on July 26, on this day a meeting on the administrative case of Pari for a “walk of free people” was to be held on June 2. On July 26, the activist was awarded 50 hours of compulsory work.

UPD: According to the updated information from Elena Shukaeva, the court did not fined Rafael Shepelev, the meeting was also postponed for about a week.
