
The judge of the Basmann District Court of Moscow Elena Lenskaya arrested until November 5, a 15-year-old teenager who attacked the teacher of school No. 1 in Ivanteevka near Moscow and arranged firing from pneumatic weapons. This is reported by Interfax. The meeting was held closed.
As the press service of the Investigative Committee reported, the investigation qualified the actions of the teenager, including under Article 30 - Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code (assassination attempted murder). However, the press secretary of the court of Juno Tsarev said that the court considered materials on the teenager only under part 3 of Article 213 (hooliganism using explosive devices).
The teenager pleaded guilty and repented. During the search, fragments of pyrotechnic products, a bit with nails, bullets for traumatic weapons, as well as other components of the weapon were seized at home, was noted in the case file.
The student’s lawyer Viktor Zaprudsky said that the parents of the teenager will pay damage for moral and physical damage, and are also ready to apologize to the victims. According to him, there were no conflicts in the schoolboy family.
On Tuesday, the 15-year-old nine-class school No. 1 of Ivanteevka attacked the teacher, inflicting her with a kitchen ax. After that, the teenager opened fire from pneumatic weapons and blew up several homemade firecrackers.
During the attack of the teenager, part of his classmates closed in the laboratory assistant. Several students jumped out of the window, the teacher was hospitalized with an open traumatic brain injury, several students jumped out of the window. Two received fractures, another girl got to the hospital with bruises. The teacher is hospitalized with an open head injury,
The arrived police officers and employees of the Russian Guard detained the attacker.
"The prosecutor's office of the city of Ivanteevka conducts an audit, during which a legal assessment of the actions of officials of the educational organization will be given. If there are grounds, comprehensive measures of prosecutorial response will be taken," the Prosecutor General’s Office said. After the attack, the school terminated the contract with the security organization that ensured security.
On February 3, 2014, the first case of shooting at school occurred in Russia. A student of the 10th grade of Moscow school No. 263, Sergei Gordeev, armed with a carbine and a rifle, killed geography teachers and captured his classmates hostage, and then opened fire on the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who had arrived at the incident, killing an employee of non-departmental security and seriously wounded the patrol. Then the shooter’s father, the police colonel, the deputy head of the external observation department of the operational-search bureau of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, persuaded his son to surrender.
In March 2015, the Butyrsky District Court recognized Gordeev as insane and directed it to forced psychiatric treatment for a period of at least 6 months. According to the protest of the victims, the sentence was canceled. On February 8, 2016, the Moscow District Military Court, having again examined the case, decided to send Gordeev to the hospital for forced treatment.
