Boris Yakemenko decided to run for president of Russia

One of the ideologists behind the creation of the pro-Kremlin movements "Walking Together" and "Ours" Boris Yakemenko will run for the presidential election. It is reported by "Rain".

As Yakemenko specified, he will officially announce this "closer to the start" of the campaign. He assured that he did not discuss his plans with the Kremlin and his brother, Vasily Yakimenko.

According to the channel, Vasily Yakimenko will raise money for his brother's campaign. Boris Yakemenko expressed the hope that the money would be given to him by "nationally oriented businesses and simply caring people." He raised part of the funds by selling a collection of medieval manuscripts, the future candidate said, without specifying the amount.

“It is very important for me to understand how many votes an ordinary person can get,” Yakemenko said, adding that he believes in his victory.

“I believe that I can do a lot for the country in this position,” he concluded.
