
The amount of additional tax payments in the framework of the implementation of the agreements of the State Corporation Rosatom with the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, on the territory of which the Russian nuclear power plant (branches of the Rosenergoatom concern) may amount to 7,743.5 million rubles in 2017. (as of the beginning of September). This is stated in the press release of the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Rosenergoatom Concern JSC.
For several years, Rosatom’s state corporation has been working closely with the regions of the presence of atomic and energy facilities. According to the agreements concluded by Rosatom with the governors of the regions, the enterprises of the nuclear industry transfer tax payments within the framework of the consolidated group of taxpayers. Funds are going to improve social and engineering infrastructure, the construction of sports facilities, and the arrangement of the territories of the presence of the Rosenergoatom Concern JSC.
So, according to the results of the past, 2016, additional tax payments in the regions of the presence of atomic and energy facilities amounted to 7,129.5 million rubles, of which 1,687.3 million rubles were allocated to the municipalities.
In total, from 2013 to 2016. Additional tax deductions in the amount of 33,455.5 million rubles were sent to the constituent entities of the Federation. With this money in municipalities, measures of a socio-economic nature were implemented
for 6,240.7 million rubles.
Rosatom’s industry agreements with regions governors are today one of the most important mechanisms to increase the efficiency of the social support system of the population of the nuclear power plant.
They are most effective today in the Voronezh, Sverdlovsk and Murmansk regions.
The Rosenergoat concern JSC includes all 10 atomic stations of Russia, which are endowed with the status of the concern branches, as well as enterprises that ensure the activities of the generating company. In total, there are 35 power units at 10 nuclear power plants: 18 power units with VVER-type reactors (of which 12-VVER-1000, one-VVER-1200 and 5 VVER-440 different modifications); 15 power units with channel reactors (11 power units with reactors type RBMK-1000 and 4 power units with reactors of the EGP-6 type); 2 power units with fast neutron reactors with sodium cooling (BN-600 and BN-800), a total installed capacity of all power units 27.9 GW.
Currently, about 18.3% of the total electricity production in the country is produced at the Russian NPP.
