Ilon Musk first showed SpaceX spacesuit in full height

The head of the American company SpaceX Ilon Musk posted on his Instagram a photograph of the spacesuit, the development of which is conducted by its specialists. It is assumed that such spaceships will be used by astronauts on the Crew Dragon - SpaceX spacecraft - at the first launches to the International Space Station (ISS).

Musk was published before that a photo of a spacesuit - but not in full growth. And on the image that appeared today, it was possible to see in which design boots and gloves were made for the first time, as well as generally consider the lower part.

Experts of the TechCrunch Internet magazine noted special flexible knees that provide the astronaut’s legs with the opportunity to move freely, and soft areas of black color in the rear of the costume for a comfortable stay in the capsule. “The boots look lightweight,” the publication noted.

It is known that the spacesuit does not allow to go into outer space and is intended exclusively to protect astronauts during the flight on Crew Dragon.

The previous photo appeared on the Mask on August 23 on Instagram, then the helmet and the “shoulder” part was visible in the picture. The businessman in an explanation of the post explained that at the moment the spacesuit is ready for use, that is, this is not a layout, but an absolutely working version that has already been tested under double vacuum pressure.
