The hearing in the casehas been continuing in June in the North Caucasus District Military Court in Rostov. The process is led by a collegium chaired by Anatoly Kolesnik. Previously, he chaired by the three who had pronounced obviously unfinished sentences to the Dagestan Salafi imam Magomednabi Magomedov (Sildinsky) and the main defendant of the first (Sevastopol) case of Crimean Muslims to Ruslan Zeitullaev .

The first of the defendants was also charged with article 156 of the Code (failure to fulfill the duties of raising a minor; up to 3 years in a colony). The defendants are concluded in the pre -trial detention center.
Karpenko is a native of Tsimlyansk, and Grishina was born in Kazakhstan, but is also a citizen of Russia. Both studied at the Don Technical University (at the time of the detention were in the fourth year) and worked without official design in the Halal store. According to the accusation, Karpenko - the main defendant - shares the views of the "Imrat of the Caucasus" and the "Islamic state" (in reality these organizations are different views, and in the North Caucasus the IR competes with the IC). In the fall of 2015, stated in the case, Grishina, on behalf of Karpenko, put pressure on Victoria Semenova, who worked with them in the “halal”, so that she would make a self -break. Semenova, the indictment says, was in the last months of pregnancy, and her husband by the name of Magomedov, with whom she entered into an Islamic marriage, but was not painted, died in Syria. Karpenko and Grishina convinced Semenov that self -break would become her revenge for her husband.
The defendants independently accepted her birth, and the son made circumcision.
It is alleged, "around November 2015," Semenova agreed. After that, from December 2015 to January 16, 2016, the defendants began to look for an optimal place for a terrorist attack. The accusation claims that they chose between the Rio shopping center and the Megacenter Horizon.
In addition, Karpenko is accused of the fact that in December 2015 - January 2016 several times in a “rude and aggressive form” pushed her daughter, which prevented her from reading the Qur'an.
22-year-old Semenova pleaded guilty and concluded a pre-trial agreement with the prosecutor's office. Materials in its regard were allocated in a separate production. In June, speaking in the process of Karpenko and Grishina, Semenova stipulated the defendants. As the lawyers Karpenko and Grishina noted, the whole charge against their clients is based precisely on the testimony of a former friend.
On July 26, the college of Skovs, chaired by Andrei Oblukov, sentenced Semenov to three years in general regime with an annual restriction of freedom after leaving the colony. The case was considered in a special order.
Meanwhile, Karpenko and Grishina are categorically denied guilty.
Karpenko, Grishin and Semenov together removed the outbuilding on the street of the people's militia in Rostov. All three were detained on January 17, 2016. Then it was argued that during the search two packs of elastitis weighing 400 grams each and "literature, which can be extremist." At the same time, it was reported that, together with three women, a certain young man was detained.
Meanwhile, in May last year, the head of the Rostov CPE Arthur Metzger, also talking about the four detainees in the case, stated that all four were women.
