The United Democrats received the majority in municipal meetings of 14 districts of Moscow. Itis reported by "New Gazeta". The opposition formed a united list on the initiative of the former State Duma deputy Dmitry Gudkov.

The Democrats received the majority of mandates in the areas of Yakimanka, Khamovniki, Treparevo-Nikulino, Zyuzino, Izmailovo, Konkovo, Airport, as well as in Tverskoy, Krasnoselsky, Lomonosovsky, Academic, Left-Bank, Presnensky, Timiryazevsky, Gagarinsky and Basmann.

As the head of the press service of Yabloko Igor Yakovlev said at his FB page, 180 candidates from the United Democrats were held to the municipal meetings of Moscow; According to the "New", they received mandates in 37 districts. In total, the opposition nominated 1025 candidates in 125 districts. To nominate a candidate in the Moscow Mayor’s elections in 2018, it will be necessary to collect 110 signatures of municipal deputies from all 125 districts and 21 settlements of the capital.

Of the parties, the majority in the municipal meetings were received by United Russia, having won 418 mandates, in second place - Yabloko, which received 110 deputy seats, also 43 self -nominates went to the councils.

In the Krasnoselsky district, the team leader of the Solidarity movement Ilya Yashin won. Members of the movement received 7 out of 10 mandates of the municipal assembly, Yashin will become its chairman. In the Basmann region, the municipal deputy was the staff of Gudkov’s headquarters Lucy Stein. In Khamovniki, the journalist of Novaya Gazeta Ilya Azar was held at the local meeting. In the Timiryazevsky district, the majority were taken by the team of the municipal activist Yulia Galyamina.

The elections played 1502 deputy mandate in 325 districts of the capital. Voting was held according to a multi -member system: one or more districts corresponded to each district, in each district the voter had to choose from three to five deputies.

The elections were held with an abnormally low turnout: according to the Moscow City Warrics, it amounted to about 15 percent.

During the vote, numerous violations were reported. In particular, a video was published on the Internet, in which the deputy head of the administration of Novo-Predelkin Svetlana Antonova discusses the methods of tags in the elections with representatives of the precinct election commissions. After his appearance, the mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin ordered to dismiss the head and deputy head of the council, as well as replace all the chairmen of the precinct election commissions in the area.
