In Chita, on Monday night, an attack on the office of the Trans -Baikal human rights center was attacked. This was reported by "Mediazona" with reference to the head of the center Anastasia Kopteev.

The attackers broke the iron lattice on the office window, broke it, penetrated inside and stole two laptops of lawyers, and also turned the documents. 10 minutes after the alarm was triggered at the attack, the security officers arrived, but no one found anyone.

"We believe that the attack on the office may be connected with our human rights activities. The fact that they were interested in cases of officials in relation to officials testifies to this. It is also possible that the criminals acted on a tip," Kopteeva said.

Employees of the Center are doing a lot of things in relation to persons working in the authorities of Transbaikalia.

On the fact of the attack, the police opened the case under Article 158 of the Criminal Code (theft). Human rights activists hope to establish the individuals of the attackers using video cameras installed on the neighboring building of the TFR.
