Unexpected election results in Moscow, Saakashvili broke into Ukraine without a passport

Single voting day. On September 10, various kinds of elections were held in 82 out of 85 regions of Russia, and governors or heads were elected in 16 regions. In general, the situation is predictable ( here is a clear illustration ) - incumbent leaders or acting leaders won in all gubernatorial elections. All of them represent United Russia. But in Moscow, the voting results were surprising . In ten municipal councils (including in the Gagarinsky district, where President Vladimir Putin voted), the opposition won the majority. First of all, this is the success of the United Democrats, a project of Dmitry Gudkov ( here's what he thinks about what happened ) and Maxim Katz. Among the victors is former Meduza special correspondent Ilya Azar, who won first place in Khamovniki, where United Russia failed to make it into the council at all. Saakashvili returned to Ukraine. Without a passport! On Sunday, the former governor of the Odessa region managed (not the first time) to cross the Polish-Ukrainian border - thanks to his supporters, who broke through the border cordon by force . After that, Saakashvili, who is now facing a criminal case, went to Lvov. President Petro Poroshenko, who deprived him of his citizenship, called the situation at the border a “shame”, Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko threatened a criminal case, and Interior Minister Arsen Avakov wrote that the case had already been opened and threatened not only Saakashvili, but all participants in the breakthrough with consequences.

"Orthodox activists" continue to attack "Matilda". On the night of September 11, unidentified persons burned two cars near the office of lawyer Konstantin Dobrynin (he represents the interests of director Alexei Uchitel), and leaflets “Burn for Matilda” were scattered nearby. Later it turned out that random cars were damaged - they had nothing to do with Dobrynin's law office. Meanwhile, was postponed indefinitely the premiere screening of Matilda, which was supposed to take place today, at the Illusion cinema in the capital. Sarafan, a PR agency that promotes the film, said they plan to involve law enforcement in providing security during screenings.

A new version of the horror movie "It"
