Milliy Fırqa (National Party) was formed in 2006. Its name refers to the Crimean Tatar Party of the same name, founded in 1917 and banned by the Councils in 1921. It was Milliy Fırqa that belonged to the first Prime Minister of the Crimean People’s Republic Noman Chelebijikhan.
The organization of Abduraimova opposed itself to the Mezhlis of the Crimean Tatar people. In 2014, Milliy Fırqa supported the annexation of Crimea.
