A criminal case was opened in Stavropol after the unknown reported to the police about explosive devices in several dozen institutions of the city. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.

According to the press service, on Monday from 9:30 to 17:00, 42 anonymous reports on the placement of explosive devices in trade-offices, educational and administrative buildings located in the regional center were received in the duty units of the police in Stavropol.

"All registered facts about deliberately false messages are combined into one production, since it was established that they came from one phone number. These messages caused an increased public resonance, in connection with which the regional prosecutor's office ensured the immediate initiation of the criminal case under part 1 of article 207 (knowingly false reports of the Act of Terrorism) of the Criminal Code," the message said. The maximum punishment under this article is three years of imprisonment.

Meanwhile, a wave of "telephone terrorism" continues in Russia. In Perm, more than 5.7 thousand people were evacuated from schools, Perm State University and several administrative buildings after calls about the inherent explosive devices. Several shopping centers, the buildings of the railway and the bus station also fell under the evacuation. “For safety reasons, classes in all schools of Perm are canceled today,” the press service of the city hall said.

In Magadan, reports of allegedly laid bombs entered several schools, an entertainment center and the market. In Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, unknown people reported more than 10 objects about mining. The territories of several large shopping centers, the house of the regional government, the city hall of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, and the railway station were numb. In Vladivostok, visitors and employees of two large shopping centers were evacuated due to bombs. Also by telephone they "mined" the Far Eastern State Institute of Arts.

On Monday, due to false reports of evacuation bombs, they were held in Omsk, Ufa, Chelyabinsk.
