The new phone is able to recognize the owner of the owner, including in the dark, thanks to the new sensors on the front panel. To recognize faces, neural network technology is used. The technology is called Face ID, it will replace the recognition of fingerprints Touch ID.

Apple argues that face recognition and unlocking the phone will work even if the owner changes his hairstyle or wear glasses. The company claims that the technology is extremely difficult to hack: the sensor will not allow you to unlock the phone using the printed photo of the owner and even a three -dimensional mask.
