Elena Zelinskaya: “Receive and sign”

“A large Moscow cinema chain refused to show the film “Matilda” because it cannot guarantee the safety of its viewers,” writes Elena Zelinskaya, president of the All-Russian public organization of media workers “MediaSoyuz”, on her Facebook page.

“It always seemed to me that the cinema network is the last organization that should care about our safety. In the first place, after all, it’s not the usherettes with flashlights, but the police, the National Guard, the riot police, and at the extreme end, the army.

That is, this refusal is a public recognition that a force has appeared in the country against which (forgive the tautology) all these law enforcement officers taken together are powerless.

They cannot protect citizens who are sitting peacefully according to the purchased tickets, and not in an underground brothel, but in a legal entertainment establishment - from a madman with porridge in his head and a Molotov bottle in his hand.

It is very clear who let this genie out of the bottle. The only question is, will this or these “someone” be able to hold it in their hands?”
