Sergei Parkhomenko: “The brutes took revenge on Nemtsov’s memory”

“About the memorial sign on Malaya Ordynka, where Boris Nemtsov lived. Tonight he disappeared from his place, and the mayor’s office has absolutely nothing to do with it,” the journalist writes on his Facebook page.

“The sign was taken down by people from the SERB group, and their leader was Igor Brumel , a former municipal deputy of the Zamoskvorechye district. This Brumel cruelly blew the elections on Sunday, the residents of the district pushed him out of the deputies. So he’s furious - at least he wants something to recoup on the memory of Nemtsov, brutes.

Our further actions will now be as follows. Of course, we have a duplicate, and we could hang it up today. But the residents of the house filed a statement with the police about the crime committed. This plaque has value - and considerable value. It is the collective property of the residents of the house. The owners will demand the return of their property and the punishment of those who committed the theft (and possibly caused damage to the property). They will demand that those responsible be punished.

I congratulate the residents of Zamoskvorechye on getting rid of scoundrels in their municipal assembly. And now we will ensure that they bear legal responsibility. Moreover, they themselves brag about what they did on various Facebooks and forums (there will be no links - both the investigator and everyone who needs them will find them). That's very good. It will be easier to identify all those involved and punish them."
