Troitsk - A City of Science

The head of the city district of Troitsk Vladimir Dudochkin, on his Facebook page, said that Troitsk was once again assigned the status of a science city: “On September 7, the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation signed Decree No. 273 on the assignment of this status for our city for 15 years. This once again confirms the significance of Troitsk in Moscow and the Russian Federation. ”

The editors of our newspaper congratulates everyone on this glorious event. It was a consequence of a great work carried out by the municipality, institutes and scientific and production enterprises of Troitsk. The status of a science city is assigned for a certain period (for the first time - for 10 years - in 2007), and then it must be confirmed. And with deeds, and documented.

This is a really important event - it not only confirms the status of Troitsk and its main purpose, but also guarantees the city certain preferences. And most importantly - in the new realities (urban district in Moscow), the status of a science city allows us to hope to preserve Troitsky by its authenticity and, as a result, an increase in its contribution to Russian science.
