Activists reported the detention of an “Artpodgotovka” supporter in Yekaterinburg immediately after he was fined by the court

In Yekaterinburg, after a hearing in the Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Yekaterinburg, supporter of the Artpodgotovki movement Viktor Baldin was detained, Galina Kovaleva and activist of the Yekaterinburg for Freedom movement Elena Shukaeva told OVD-Info.

“Today, after the trial, at which he was given a fine of 10 thousand rubles, our comrade-in-arms Viktor Baldin was detained again, he is charged with disobedience to police officers on July 9,” says the movement’s community on VKontakte.

The court found Baldin guilty under Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation by a participant of the rules for holding a public event) for the “walk of free people” on July 23. Previously, the same court sentenced Baldin to 12 days of arrest on charges of disobedience to police officers (Article 19.3 of the Administrative Code) at that mass event.

After the trial on September 13, Baldin was taken to the police department, the court, and a report was drawn up against him. Other activists handed him food and left.

According to activist Elena Pariy, on July 9 she was called to the police to draw up a report for another “walk of free people.” Baldin came to the police that day and put his foot in the opening of the front door so that they could not close it; for this, the security forces drew up a report on him two months later.
