The meeting in the case of Nikita Belykh was supposed to begin at noon, but was very delayed. The convoy accompanied the former governor of the Kirov region into the courtroom for about an hour of the afternoon. Fifteen minutes before that, the White Catherine Reifer, the White’s civil wife, joined the journalists who were waiting for the trial. In the case, she passes a witness and, before her speech in court, can neither be present at meetings or get a date from the whites in the Lefortovo pre -trial detention center.
White walked past the television cameras with a cane and limping a little. To the journalists' question: “What do you have with your foot?”, He replied: “It hurts.” About an hour of the whites talked with his lawyer Andrei Grokhotov. More than a dozen operators with television cameras gathered at the hall; The showman, ex-resident of Comedy Club and a friend of the former governor in life in Perm Gavre Gordeev, as well as public activist Alena Popova came to support a comrade.
Before the meeting, a few dozen of the criminal case were brought into the hall on the cart. When reporters finally allowed the journalists, Judge Tatyana Vasyuchenko just laid them out on her table.
The first petition of the lawyer Andrei Grokhotov concerned permission to date the Reifer and Belykh. The judge assured the defense that she would allow them to see and consider the request when the Reifer is interrogated: “I always allow everyone to date, and friends and friends. But your petition is premature, since now the prosecution submits its evidence. ”
Grohotov invited the court to throw them a text file with the speech of Nikita Belykh in order to simplify the work of the secretary, the judge happily agreed: "I am a supporter of when both you and us are convenient."
While the secretary copied the file, the whites winked at someone from the hall, and the lawyer handed him a folder with a printed speech. “Most likely, this will not be my best public performance in life for health reasons ... But everything that I will talk about is related to business,” the whites began his performance. He said that he completely disagree with the accusations of corruption crimes (Medusa published the decryption of this part of the speech of Nikita Belykh).
The next hour of the White with the endurance of the university lecturer introduced the court to how the forest industry was arranged in the Kirov region, and how and by whom investment projects for the development of forests were approved. In the patronage of one of these projects - the “Kirovles Kirovles KOGUP” (NLK) and the NLK) and the Kirovs (Lawkhoz later) and accused the whites. According to Belykh investigators, he first extorted, and then received a bribe from the owner of the NLK and partner of the Leskhoz Criminal Code Albert Laritsky. Belykh confirmed that they really had a friendly relationship. And he quoted the accusation, which said that in 2011 the whites began to extort from the Laritsky bribe, which he ultimately handed over to him through the Kirov official Shcherchkov, and continued the Belykh for this, provided for the protection of Laritsky.
Belykh suggested that Shcherchkov could take money from Laritsky, but did it for himself. “Laritsky did not receive any requests from me,” Belykh said and specified that all persons who stipulated his persons are in the situation dependent on the law enforcement agencies, suggesting that they made a deal to avoid punishment for other cases.
Throughout the meeting, Judge Tatyana Vasyuchenko several times made white remark that his speech diverges with the text that his lawyer handed over to the secretary. The whites and really spoke most of the time without a piece of paper, walked around the cage and actively gestured.
- I am worried that we will now introduce, but you will not say this. If you are not going in the text, then say at least slower so that Sasha (the secretary of the court) manages to record, - Vasyuchenko politely asked.
“In order for my text to correspond to the written, I need to provide normal communication with a lawyer,” the whites answered her (his lawyer can not always achieve a meeting with him in the Lefortovo pre -trial detention center).
“I am doing everything I can,” the judge assured.
The prosecutors Marina Dyatlova and Svetlana Tarasova during the whites were performed, then they listened attentively, then rolled their eyes, then were distracted for correspondence in the phone, then barely retained from laughter. And in the middle of the meeting, Tarasov left the hall and returned with an adapter for the discharged phones and a computer. Belys pretended not to notice the indifference of the side of the prosecution, often turned to them and looked in their direction. But most often, the ex-governor turned to Sasha-the secretary of the court-asked if she managed to record after him and, if necessary, repeated and read entire passages.
Further, Belykh began to get into the second episode that lay down on the case, and to the circumstances of his detention. He began by being the governor, he worked with non -budgetary sources of financing, which invested in sport, culture and improvement of the region. Belykh said that for his own money he erected in Kirov a monument of the run -up of Alexander Green in Kirov, for several years in a row he handed the best janitors of cars, but in parallel with this attracted additional funds - from local entrepreneurs.
When the White once again deepened into the description of all circumstances, the prosecutor appealed to the court with a request to avoid a story about the investment attractiveness of the Kirov region and go closer to the essence. The judge of the prosecutor supported.
Belye calmly listened to the judge and prosecutors and continued the performance, he did not turn to the paper with the text anymore.
“See,” the judge drew attention to this, “you don’t even look into your text.”
“This speaks of my good knowledge of the question,” the whites answered her with a smile.
“It was not enough that you did not know him,” Vasyuchenko said in a playful tone too.
Belykh said that in April 2016, at a meeting with the entrepreneurs of the region, he announced the projects that they plan to launch, and called on the extent of the opportunity to finance them. One of these entrepreneurs was a German businessman of Russian descent Yuri Zyudheimer. According to the Belykh, he agreed to make a non-cash transfer of funds, but later said that due to working capital problems, it is more convenient for him to give the entire amount in cash. It is about the fact that he would personally transmit them to the whites personally, and there is evidence (audio recordings of conversations) in the case file. Zyudheimer, as Belykh said, was generally afraid to go to Russia, and they usually met with him in Europe. So, at Riga airport, the businessman once again confirmed his intention to provide sponsorship, but insisted that he would transfer them in cash.
In May, the envelope with 50 thousand euros Zyudhaimer's nephew handed the Belykh-the governor transferred this amount to the account of the military-historical society.
On June 24, the whites were supposed to meet with Zyudheimer in the lobby bar of the Lotta Plaza Hotel in the center of Moscow. However, according to the Belykh, Zyudheimer at the last moment changed the place of the meeting: instead of a busy bar, they met in a fairly secluded restaurant. At the meeting, Zyudheimer congratulated the whites on his birthday and handed him a package in which, as the ex-governor suggested then, there was a bottle of wine.
“I took this package by the rag pens, I didn’t get anything of it, and did not even know what was inside the package. At the exit from the restaurant, people from the FSB approached us, ”the white events of that day retold. According to him, the employees took out not only wine from the package, but also a pack of money. They also shone him in their arms with a special flashlight and found traces of the substance on them, which marked the bills.
“Having already read the materials, I realized that not only funds were processed with a special chemical prescription, but also the red package itself,” the whites explained why the traces of the substance were found on his hands, “the operatives did not even need to touch the bills.” Belykh stated that the bribe and his capture were promoted with red -handed, and the provocation was prepared in advance. According to him, the FSB began to observe them in the spring.
“My mistake is that I did not insist on cashless transfer of money by Zyudheimer,” the whites completed his speech.
The judge asked a few questions about the relations of the whites with Shcherchov, Laritsky and other Kirov officials and conveyed the floor to the prosecution.
The prosecutor Dyatlov began all her questions with the words "tell me please." But the polite tone did not sleep the vigilance of the former governor. Belykh twice turned to the judge to indicate that the prosecutors, apparently, did not listen to his speech, since their questions forced him to duplicate their own words. After the second such appeal, the prosecutor of Tarasov and asked the judge to make white remarks for an incorrect attitude towards state charges.
As a result, Vasyuchenko proposed to continue the interrogation of the accused already at the next meeting.
“Moreover, according to the formula of the prosecution, Nikita Yuryevich said nothing,” the judge Dyatlova supported.
“So get ready for interrogation,” the White Vasyuchenko advised, and he again reminded her of the impossibility of communicating normally with a lawyer.
- Do you have powers? - Suddenly the judge asked him.
“In prison - no,” the whites answered honestly, which caused a smile.
“I do everything that depends on me,” the judge assured once again.
“I want to thank you separately for this breakthrough,” the former governor sincerely said.
“I ask all the participants in the process next time to follow Sasha’s hands and watch whether she manages to record you,” Vasyuchenko asked in the end.
“Sorry that I overloaded Sasha with work, I just didn’t really talk to anyone for a year, there are a lot of thoughts,” the whites said.
