Activists of Navalny's headquarters detained in Sochi were released from the police without reports

Four activists of Alexei Navalny's headquarters , who were detained in Sochi during an agreed-upon picket using a campaign cube, were released from the police without charge. Activists wrote explanations. This was reported to OVD-Info by phone by one of the detainees Dmitry Titkov.

In total, four were detained: Olesya Khristosenko, Denis Boyko, Dmitry Titkov and Konstantin Zykov. The police confiscated a laptop, a gas cylinder for balloons, and stickers from the activists. The police officers said they came because of a report of an incident.

The mayor's office said that they were detained because of the use of balloons: “Children are walking on the square, there is a playground, and picketers without an agreement with the mayor's office began to inflate balloons. One of the parents did not like this, they complained to our new employee, and she informed the police.”
