
On September 17, in the Tarusian House of Writers, the Chamber Orchestra Tarusa will continue the cycle “Musical Portraits” by a concert dedicated to the work of Ludwig Van Beethoven.
Earlier in the cycle, portraits of Mozart, Schubert and Glinka were presented. In addition to Beethoven's works at the concert on September 17, the works of Haydn will be heard.
The chamber orchestra of Tarusa will come under the control of the conductor and composer Ivan Velikanov - laureate of international competitions, organizer and artistic director of the international festival of music and dance of the Renaissance of La Renaissance , the founder of the first Alta Capella ensemble in Russia.
In 2014, Ivan Velikanov founded the chamber orchestra of Tarusa and became his artistic director. In the repertoire of the orchestra, the music of the XVIII - XX centuries, performed in an authentic manner on historical instruments.
Young musicians Dmitry Sinkovsky (violin), Evgeny Rumyantsev (cello) and Maxim Emelyanychev (piano) will also take part in the concert.
