On September 5, at about 12.30, at the airport of Minsk, Dudurkaev was detained while trying to fly to Helsinki. Belarusian policemen refused to talk with a lawyer accompanying Dudurgaev, although he had a power of attorney to represent her interests in government agencies.

The police took the girl for "conversation" with unknown people in civilian clothes.
