Moscow Zaryadye Park may almost double in price

An anonymous official from the Moscow City Hall told Vedomosti that Zaryadye Park, which suffered from visitors after its opening, will not be closed for reconstruction: “This is a defeatist position.” However, additional funds will be allocated from the city budget for the maintenance of the park. “We are talking about no less than hundreds of millions of rubles,” the source said.

Other anonymous people from the mayor's office told Vedomosti that the total cost estimate for the park could increase from 14 billion rubles. up to 25 billion rubles.
