Since the beginning of September, activists from the oppositionist's campaign headquarters have tried three times to hold a rally - each time they submitted five applications with different places for the rally. Officials did not agree on any of them. They explained each of their refusals by the fact that all the sites chosen by the activists were occupied for other events during the specified periods.
According to Aleksey Tabalov, coordinator of the headquarters, no one organized events at the sites designated by the activists at the stated time.
On September 13, the authorities of Chelyabinsk did not agree on a rally of the Stop GOK movement. Officials considered that it was impossible to place the declared number of participants at the place indicated by the organizers. On September 15, the court upheld this decision.
