Ufa: An inconsistent rally for the resignation of the head of Bashkiria gathered about 700 people

In Ufa at the House of Trade Unions, an inconsistent rally was held for the resignation of the head of Bashkiria Rustem Khamitov. It is reported by "Media Corset." About 700 people took part in the action.

The rally was arranged by civil activists with the support of the Congress of the Bashkir people, the community of deceived equity holders and sports organizations. As one of the organizers of the action told IDEL. REALIAM, the journalist of the Ramil Rakhmatov website, the notification was submitted to the Ufa City Hall on the first day of the deadline established by law - September 5 - 2 minutes after the start of the working day. Nevertheless, on the 12th, officials told the organizers that the site was already busy - it should allegedly take place on it from 7 to 20 hours to the Association of Children's and Youth Clubs "Yәshlek". “I phoned the Directorate of the Association - they had no idea that they were holding some event on September 21,” added Rakhmatov.

As a result, the organizers announced that the notification procedure for holding public actions was followed by them, so that the rally should be considered agreed. Since the "yәshlek" really held an event in front of the house of trade unions, the protesters stood away from the building.

About a dozen speakers performed for the rally. They announced environmental problems, in particular related to the construction of the Kronoshpan plant , protested against the abolition of the mandatory study of the Bashkir language in schools, and criticized the growth of tariffs for housing and communal services. Initially, only about 300 people participated in the rally, but by the end the number of demonstrators increased more than doubled.

At the same time, the previous campaign for the resignation of Khamitov, held on July 20, collected only a little more - from 800 to 1000 people - despite the fact that the officials agreed on it.

In the resolution of the September rally, which was read out by the leader of the Union of Bashkir public associations "Arҡadash", one of the leaders of the Congress of the Bashkir people Valiakhmet Badretdinov, was a demand not only to remove Hamitov from his post, but also to hold him liable. Demonstrators also demanded that the Bashkiria government be resigned and stop the plunder of the region.

Police initially interfered with the rally, however, not making attempts to accelerate and detention. In the future, they stopped interfering with the audience. However, Kommersant reports , at the end of the rally, the seven participants were detained and delivered to OP Leninsky. Among the detainees are Rakhmatov, Badretdinov, the head of the organizing committee of the promotion Amir Tuigunov and activist Ramil Saitov.

At least part of the delivered were drawn up by the protocols under Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the procedure for holding a public event). “I did not sign the protocol and I will prove in court that the notification nature of the rally was observed,” Badretdinov said.
