
The court in Ufa arrested two participants in the rally for the resignation of the head of Bashkiria Rustem Khamitov. This was reported by the website "IDEL. REALIALES" (project of Radio Liberty).
The activist and host of the rally Amir Tuigunov received five days of administrative arrest. Another activist - lawyer Kamil Mukhamedyanov - seven.
According to Tuigunov and Mukhamedyanov, during the detention, the police applied strength to them.
A rally for the resignation of the head of the republic took place on September 21. On the eve of the authorities warned the organizers that the event would not be agreed, since the site was booked by the organizers of another event. The organizers of the rally did not agree with the decision of the authorities and did not cancel the event.
The rally was attended by more than 500 people. Initially, the police demanded to remove posters and sound amplifying equipment, but those present did not obey this requirement. After the event, the police detained eight people. They drew up protocols for participating in an inconsistent public event. Some detainees wanted to take fingerprints, but activists refused to do this. After drawing up the protocols of the rally participants, except for Tuigunov and Mukhamedyanov, they released.
