Chechen singer Zelimkhan Bakaev, who has been looking for his mother since August, said that he had gone to live in Germany. The video where he talks about this was published on YouTube by a certain Artem Lebedev, but the Chechen state channel Grozny was the first to pay attention to it.
On the recording, Bakaev says that “already somewhere in mid-August he got to Germany” and settled with a friend. The video is addressed to a man named Islam, who, according to Bakaev, lives in Holland.
“There is absolutely nothing to do either in Grozny or in Moscow. Because it's still those idiots. Here the people are really completely different - you go out into the street, everyone smiles at you. People have a completely different worldview,” says Bakaev.
There is no direct indication that the recording was made in Germany on the video. Artem Lebedev did not publish any other records other than Bakaev's appeal.
