The court arrested the Left Bloc activists detained in Barvikha for periods ranging from 3 to 14 days

On the evening of September 25, the Odintsovo city court arrested the activists of the “Left Bloc” who were detained in Barvikha and spent two nights in the police department. The court found all the detained activists guilty of disobeying the demands of the police (Article 19 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). Vladimir Zhuravlev - 3 days of arrest. Among the detainees was also a minor, who, after two nights in the police department, was apparently handed over to his parents.

Left Bloc activists were detained when they tried to hold a direct action near elite cottages in Barvikha. All of them drew up protocols under Art. 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (disobedience to the lawful order of a police officer) and left pending trial in police departments.

According to the police, the offense committed by the detained activists of the Left Bloc was that when law enforcement officers asked to show documents, the activists began to run away, thereby disobeying the lawful order of a representative of the authorities (19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

The activists themselves said that they could not identify the people who approached them as police officers, because they did not introduce themselves and were dressed in civilian clothes.

Immediately after the arrest, a note about the incident appeared on the pro-Kremlin Anti-Maidan website. It said that the activists planned to block the Rublyovo-Uspenskoe highway with a banner and light flares. In addition, the publication contains photographs of activists lying on the pavement.

None of the detainees were given copies of the protocols in their hands. One of the activists saw the first page of his protocol, and remembered that the time of detention was indicated there - 15-20 on September 23. Accordingly, the term for the legal detention of activists ended today at twenty past three. Comrades of the detainees, who came to court to support them, informed the policeman about this fact and demanded that their friends be released. The police officer replied that all questions about the terms of detention would be decided by the court.
