Twitter will first increase the limit by the number of characters in the message: instead of 140 signs, it will be possible to print 280. The innovation is already tested on a limited group of users.

Representatives of the company in their blog added that the innovation has not yet concerned Japanese, Korean and Chinese languages, since due to the linguistic features their native speakers rarely reach a limit of 140 characters. The tweets of English -speaking users, according to Twitter estimates, rest on restriction in 9 % of cases.
