The co-owner of VIM-Avia Rashid Mursekaev does not communicate in the morning of September 27, writes Interfax with reference to the source.
The interlocutors of the agency and the head of the "Rosavision" Alexander Neudko suggest that he left Russia. Neudko said that Mursekaev did not come to a meeting about the airline on September 27.
“According to some reports, he flew to Turkey from Vnukovo, allegedly to Istanbul,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
According to Interfax, this happened on September 26.
As Neudko said , Vim-Avia aircraft was arrested for debts at the airports of Dalaman, Antalya and Liezha. On September 27, about 38 thousand passengers of the airline are abroad.
The total payable of the air carrier was estimated at 7 billion rubles.
Russian President Vladimir Putin previously announced incomplete service to the Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov because of the situation with the airline.
On September 22, the airline began to detain and cancel flights. Later, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on fraud on an especially large scale against VIM-Avia. The Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov, in turn, said that the state support of the airline "is already meaningless because this company practically ceased its work."
The airline massively began to delay flights in May 2017. Then the airline explained that during the maintenance of the aircraft, hidden defects were found at airplanes and they needed repairs. VIM-Avia had to stop charter transportation in June for two weeks to stop delay.
