TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov has a certificate of a resident of Italy issued to him by local authorities after buying a villa on Lake Como. This is stated in the film-investigation of the Corruption Fund, published by its founder Alexei Navalny.

“While the whole country, having opened his mouth, watches Solovyov’s show, where he in a black uniform covers the decaying West and licks Putin, our hero is quietly so - a barrel, a barrel - designed residency in Italy. This is not citizenship and not a residence permit, but legally expressed: guys, I live here, you have a permanent place of residence,” Navalny writes.

FBK also estimated the value of real estate belonging to the propagandist. “We estimate the minimum state of Solovyov’s state of a billion rubles. This is only that he cannot hide and is documented. I think that if you add money here on Russian and foreign accounts, as well as cash in the suitcase under the bed, then the figure will need to be doubled,” Navalny notes.

Among Solovyov’s real estate there is an apartment in Moscow on Dolgorukovskaya Street with an area of ​​160 square meters. Earlier, the New Gazeta published a document according to which the Moscow City Hall in 2003 sold this apartment to the TV presenter for 2.5 million rubles, despite the fact that the market price of such an object then amounted to at least 13 million. “By the way, we will send the defendants and Solovyov to the bench, and those who gave the apartment. Piria in its pure form,” Navalny writes.

Among the other real estate belonging to Solovyov are two more apartments in the same house with an area of ​​140 and 146 square meters, a cottage in Peredelkino with an area of ​​1046 square meters on a section of 60 acres, as well as a villa in Italy on Lake Como. In the investigation of the FBK, all documents confirming the possession of Solovyov by these objects are published.

According to Navalny, the investigation of Soloviev is the first among the materials about Russian propagandists. “Falsers, hypocrites, propagandists - they are the basis of this power, and no Rosguard or Pamfilova with its falsifications in the elections. TV presenters, television show participants and producers with neat hairstyles - they were the worst people of the country and made the most to turn Russia into a backward country of the third world,” the FBK founder writes.

Solovyov himself told the insider: “I have not seen this text, but I don’t really understand what the complaints about me, that I am not hiding this? I was engaged in business in the nineties and I am a rich man ... am I a civil servant? No. I'm just rich.”

In May 2014, Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the awarding by orders and medals of a large group of Russian media employees "for objectivity in covering events in Crimea." Solovyov then received the Order of Alexander Nevsky .

In September 2014, Solovyov became a defendant in the first list of 35 Russian media workers, to whom the Security Service of Ukraine banned the entrance to the country .
