Aeroflot will finance VIM-Avia

Aeroflot Airlines will spend its own funds to finance the operating and financial activities of VIM-Avia. This follows from the directive of Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, published on the website of the Russian government.

According to the directive, the money spent will be compensated to Aeroflot "on account of mutual settlements <...> with the industry." There are no explanations regarding reimbursement of expenses in the directive.

According to The Bell, Aeroflot will spend about 1.85 billion rubles. This amount will be allocated from the funds that Aeroflot receives for the flight of aircraft of foreign airlines over the territory of Russia.
