The Ministry of Transport restarts "VIM-Avia" until mid-October

Aircraft disturbing the Wim-Avia distress will perform flights until mid-October. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Transport based on the results of an emergency meeting. Earlier, the Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov insisted that it makes no sense to maintain VIM-Avia and it is better to give money to execute its flights to other carriers. In fact, it turns out differently: the airports will again begin to refuel the VIM aircraft, which will be involved in the return to Russia more than 10 thousand passengers affected by the crisis.

The meeting of the anti -crisis headquarters on the evening of September 27 was held by the head of the department Maxim Sokolov. The Ministry of Transport in its press release reports the achievement of "fundamental agreements" with airports and fueling companies in the country on uninterrupted maintenance of all VIM-Avia flights.

According to the results of the meeting, passenger air transportation on regular lines was restored, the country's airports under guarantees were refueling all VIM-Avia aircraft, and a plan for the export of charter passengers from abroad was developed.

In addition, the Ministry of Transport agreed with the owners of Domodedovo Airport that five VIM-Avia, previously detained for debts, would be released from there. They will fly to another Moscow Airport Vnukovo, and from there, as expected, to Turkish Antalya, from where about two thousand passengers of charter flights to Moscow will be returned during Thursday.

"By the end of the current day, regular flights will be made from Vnukovo to Blagoveshchensk, Krasnodar and Simferopol, as well as from Anadyr to Moscow. A regular flight from Pulkovo to Beijing (China) is being prepared for departure. Tomorrow will already be implemented from China," the department said.

Transportation of passengers of regular flights "VIM-Avia" will be carried out until October 15. From October 16, it will be stopped. Passengers with the date of the regular flight from October 16 and later are recommended to return tickets at the place of their purchase to return funds.

Earlier, the TASS agency transmitted with reference to the source that the VIM-Avia operator certificate could be suspended in two weeks: "In two weeks, the company will not exist, we were clearly told about it." This is consistent with the results of the meeting in the Ministry of Transport.
