
The government increased 59 billion rubles to financing the development program for the annexed Crimea until 2020. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Economic Development Sergey Nazarov, reports RIA Novosti.
According to the official, this is not final funding, in the future another 72 billion rubles will be allocated for the program.
As Nazarov specified, mainly additional money for Crimea will go to the construction of Tauris high-speed highway along the Kerch-Simferopol-Sevastopol route. Presumably, the cost of the new road will be 166 billion rubles. "Two sites - Crimean and Sevastopol, the cost was about 168 billion rubles in the prices of the corresponding years. Now, according to the expertise, it will be 2 billion less," the deputy minister said.
In addition, as part of the program, it is planned to expand the Peninsula electric networks market. The Ministry of Energy offers state -owned companies Rosseti to allocate up to 9 billion rubles for this. In the past, the company already planned to invest 2 billion rubles in the Sevastopol electric grid complex.
On September 18, it became known that to finance Crimea and Kaliningrad, the government is going to increase excise taxes on gasoline and fees from communications operators. As reported, 165 billion rubles were required for the peninsula.
