Politician Alexei Navalny was released from the police department, where he spent almost the entire day on September 29. Navalny himself tweeted about this.

Navalny's press secretary, Kira Yarmysh , added that the trial in the administrative case against the politician would take place on October 2. At the same time, a meeting will be held on the case of the chief of the federal headquarters of Navalny, Leonid Volkov, who was detained in Nizhny Novgorod.

• On the evening of September 29, a rally was scheduled for Navalny in Nizhny Novgorod, the politician was detained at about 10 am when he left his house to go to the station. The Nizhny Novgorod City Hall first offered the site to Navalny's headquarters, but then withdrew the approval. The scene was dismantled by the police in the morning.
• Against Navalny and Volkov, protocols were drawn up on repeated violations of the procedure for holding mass actions. They face a fine of 150 to 300 thousand rubles or up to 30 days of arrest.
