In the Kursk region, a battle occurred near the border with Ukraine

In the village of Tetkino, Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region, located directly at the Russian-Ukrainian border, there was a battle of border guards with violators. This was announced on Sunday by Kommersant-Black region with reference to an unnamed source in law enforcement agencies of the region.

The incident claimed on Saturday, September 30, about 16 hours. The security forces examined a kind of residential building as part of the operation "illegal", and they were fired from the depths of the building from the pistol. The border guard who went first died on the spot. The rest joined the battle. One of the attackers tried to throw a grenade at them, but he was blown up by himself. The second soon surrendered.

One of the shooters is called a native of Ukraine, and the second - visitors from the North Caucasus, registered in the Volgograd region. Which of them died and who surrendered is not specified.

Meanwhile, "My! Online" previously set out on October 1 with reference to the Telegram channel "Operee" a different plot of events. It was claimed that the battle did not occur in a residential building, but in the barn, where the Islamists who returned from Syria hid. The murdered border guard is called a dog handler; It was declared that he received two bullets in the heart.

In the barn, it was said in the message, not two, but three people were hiding. One was blown up on a grenade, the second went into a breakthrough and was shot killed from the machine guns, and the third, which was firing from the Makarov pistol, was taken alive, but then died.

Among the security forces, it wrote "My! Online", there were no other losses, except for the dog handler. However, one of the border guards in a tactical belt stuck a bullet.

Kursk Glavk SKR reported the initiation of the incident of the case. It is qualified under Article 317 (an encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer), part 2 of Article 222 (illegal turnover of weapons and ammunition as part of a group of persons by prior conspiracy) and part 2 of Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code (illegal explosives as part of a group of persons by prior conspiracy). The first of these norms provides for punishment up to the death penalty (in connection with the moratorium on it - until a life sentence).

The plot of the Investigative Department generally coincides with the one that the Kommersant outlined - tells about the two violators, one of whom died and the second was detained. The only difference is that the deceased did not report that he intended to throw a grenade at the security forces, but only it is said that he made a self -break.

At the Center for Public Relations, the FSB confirmed the death of an intelligence officer on the border with Khratnaya. The department also claims that the shootout occurred after an attempt to check the documents from the attack participants, and one of them undermined himself.

Meanwhile, the press secretary of the State Border Service of Ukraine Oleg Slobodyan told Ukrainian Pravda, commenting on the message of the Operee Channel that the information about the arrival of Islamists from Ukraine is the “next Russian fake”. In case of violation of the border, the security official explained, one party notifies the other to fix the incident in the relevant protocols. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian side was not received from Russia of such notifications. In addition, he added Slobodyan, the State Border Service checked the line of the border and did not find traces of violation.

At the same time, the security officer noticed with reference to operational information that the incident in Tetkin, as a result of which the Russian border guard died, really took place. According to Slobodyan, a group of Russian citizens from the North Caucasus, on the federal wanted list, intended to move from Russia to Ukraine, and not vice versa.
