Simonovsky court of Moscow arrested Alexei Navalny for 20 days. It is reported by "Mediazona."
According to Judge Musakaev, Navalny is guilty of “repeated calls to participate in an inconsistent public event” using the Internet:
The court concludes that the organizer and Navalny himself were aware of the refusal, however, from the Office of the FBK Navalny on YouTube and on his website called for an inconsistent event.
The police detained the opposition in the morning of September 29 at the entrance of his own house when he was heading on a train to Nizhny Novgorod, where a rally was planned as part of the Navalny Tour. The whole day of Navalny was held in the police, and in the evening they released Danilovsky from the Danilovsky police department, drawing up a protocol under Part 8 of Art. 20.2 Code of Administrative Offenses (repeated violation of the procedure for organizing a rally).
The administration of Nizhny Novgorod first agreed on the meeting, and then canceled the decision. Activists still decided to hold it - as a result of the city hall, closed the square , and the police dismantled the scene and seized equipment. At the rally itself, which nevertheless took place, 7 people were detained .
Judge Musakaev read out the position of the Nizhny City Hall in court:
By decision of the city anti -terrorism commission, shares are coordinated only in specially designated places. The action was proposed to be carried out in several other areas, including on Markin Square. The applicant Arshinova confirmed the holding of Markin on Square, however, before receiving the notification, the administration received another notice to the same place and at the same time. Due to the lack of free places, the action was proposed to hold the next day ...
Before the rally, the police detained the coordinator of the local campaign headquarters and two of its employees. All three were released without protocols, taking explanations.
Today, the court in Nizhny Novgorod arrested two participants in the action on September 29 for 12 and 14 days for disobedience to the police officer (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
The head of the Navalny’s election headquarters Leonid Volkov, also detained yesterday in Nizhny, is now in the Savelovsky District Court of Moscow, where a meeting in his administrative case, similar to Navalny, has already begun. On Volkov, they also drew up a protocol under Part 8 of Art. 20.2 Administrative Code.
