Police detained the head of Navalny's St. Petersburg headquarters

Update. Navalny's headquarters reported that a police report was being drawn up against Polina Kostyleva under an administrative article on violation of the procedure for holding rallies.

In St. Petersburg, the head of the local headquarters of Alexei Navalny, Polina Kostyleva, was detained. This was reported in the public of Navalny's team on the VKontakte social network. Kostyleva was accused of disobeying the lawful demands of police officers.

Campaign materials were confiscated at the headquarters, they will be sent for examination.

The police said that they came to the headquarters in connection with a complaint about pasted posters announcing the October 7 rally.

• The headquarters of Alexei Navalny tried to get an agreement on the rally on October 7 on the Field of Mars in St. Petersburg, but did not receive a response from the city authorities within the prescribed period. Navalny said that in this way the action can be considered coordinated. The administration of St. Petersburg said, in turn, that Navalny's supporters were denied permission to hold a rally.
• On October 2, Navalny was arrested for 20 days under an article about repeated calls to participate in uncoordinated actions. The same term of arrest was given to his chief of staff, Leonid Volkov. The reason for the court decisions was a disrupted rally in Nizhny Novgorod, where the authorities first agreed on the action, and then withdrew the approval.
