The administration of the Petrogradsky district of St. Petersburg did not agree on a rally in memory of the murdered journalist Anna Politkovskaya near the Solovetsky stone. about this with reference to the deputy of the local Legislative Assembly Boris Vishnevsky. writes Novaya Gazeta

In the refusal, the authorities referred to the fact that on the declared day from 12:00 to 20:00 a youth event on the prevention of juvenile delinquency would be held.

Vishnevsky specified that the action would take place despite the refusal of the authorities. The politician recalled that it has been held in St. Petersburg annually since 2006.
