According to the interlocutor of the publication, the dismissal of the official was a foregone conclusion due to the conflict with the security forces and the loss of federal patrons represented by the owner of the Summer group Ziyavudin Magomedov and the Kovalchuk brothers.

The source also noted that Miklushevsky "simply lost control of the situation."

Another interlocutor of RBC - a certain Primorsky businessman - called another reason for dismissal the conflict of the governor with Putin's envoy in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev. He also noted that Miklushevsky failed to consolidate various groups in power and business. “All - senators, local deputies and government members - were if not tuned against him, then not with him for sure,” the source remarked. “In fact, he didn’t even have his own team here.”
