The ex-Senator from Chechnya Dzhabrailov was charged with hooliganism after shooting at a Moscow hotel

The former Senator from Chechnya Umar Dzhabrailov, who at the end of August, firing at the hotel in the center of Moscow and subsequently repeatedly justified his behavior with a contusion, was an official accusation.

According to the Interfax agency, the ex-Senator is accused under Part 1 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code ("Hooliganism committed using weapons"). “He pleaded guilty,” the informed interlocutor of journalists emphasized.

At the same time, he clarified that at present Jabrailov is undergoing a psychological and psychiatric examination, which should determine its sanity. “After receiving the results of the examination, he will be charged with a final charge and the procedure for familiarizing themselves with the case file began,” the source summed up.

Meanwhile, according to RBC , the press secretary of the ex-senator Grigory Gorchakov told RBC, "no official accusations were brought to the businessman."

Earlier it was reported that a ballistic examination was also appointed in the criminal case, to which the Dzhabrailov pistol with the remaining cartridges, shot cartridges and bullets were sent.

In addition, the media have already written that Dzhabrailov underwent examination for alcohol and drugs in the blood. It was noted that the drug test gave a positive result. Dzhabrailov after a scandalous incident at the hotel repeatedly commented on what had happened, while giving various explanations to his actions. At first, the ex-Senator said that in the hotel room he wanted to check his award pistol and shots at the ceiling were random .

Then Dzhabrailov said that the leadership and security service of the hotel wanted to survive him, that allegedly provoked him. The businessman claimed that he had a contusion and a rebellious protest began. “Unfortunately, I am a shell -shocked person. I am a participant in hostilities, I am an reserve officer. I fought in Chechnya ... and, apparently, it worked ...” - the ex -Senator explained , apologizing for his behavior to the Russian public.

Later, Jabrailov added another explanation for the existing ones, telling that he shot because of anger at the greedy "commers" . According to the businessman, shooting was preceded by his conversation with businessmen whom he asked to help the charity fund. They refused, although, according to the ex-senator, they could help the needy organization, since they are billionaires.

The businessman and former Chechnya Senator Umar Dzhabrailov fired at the Four Seasons metropolitan hotel near the Kremlin on August 29. The Mash Telegram channel reported that the reason was the discontent of the ex-senator by the fact that the dinner was brought by a cleaning lady, not a waiter.
