A volunteer from Navalny’s local headquarters is being held at the Tambov police department

In Tambov police department No. 3, a volunteer from the campaign headquarters of Alexei Navalny is being held. This was reported to the OVD-Info hotline by the headquarters coordinator Diana Rudakova.

According to her, the volunteer is serving as a witness in the administrative case against Rudakova. He has been at the police station with the headquarters lawyer for more than three hours. The activist refuses to testify, referring to Art. 51 of the Constitution, but the police are not satisfied with this.

Rudakova said that at first the volunteer received a notice with a call to come to the police from the district police officer. Later, the policemen came to the dean's office of the university where he studies and handed him a summons.

The coordinator added that on October 5, she and her deputy were summoned to the same police department. She believes these actions are a “police reaction” to the upcoming October 7 protest.
