Elena Pariy, a participant in the "free people's walk," succeeded in overturning the court's decision to impose a fine of 10,000 rubles on her in the Sverdlovsk Regional Court. This was reported on the page of Elena Shukaeva on Facebook.
Earlier, the Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Yekaterinburg fined her for participating in the rally on July 23 under Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the procedure for holding the event).
In similar cases, the court has already fined five more participants in the “walk of free people” for the same amount - Vladimir Khusainov , Igor Nelogov , Sergey Chudov , Rafael Shepelev and Viktor Baldin . immediately after the trial The latter was detained on another administrative case, and a day later he was arrested for six days.
All six activists were detained on July 23, after the end of the “walk of free people” action. Pariy and Baldin were left overnight at the police station. The next day in court, Pariy fainted , after which she was taken to the hospital and then returned to the department. When Pariy was released from the department, the police said that she would be “closed” if she did not come to the court session on July 26 – on this day, the administrative case of Pariy for the “walk of free people” on June 2 was supposed to take place. On July 26, the activist was sentenced to 50 hours of compulsory work.
