The European University has become a research institute

The European University has changed the status from a university to a research institute (research institute). This was announced by the head of the apparatus of the rector of Alla Samoletova, reports TASS.

The university stopped studying students. Of these, 10% were transferred to other universities, and the rest were expelled.

“We will try to get a license to infinity, but we don’t know how much time it will take,” Square added.

The university voluntarily surrendered to Rosobrnadzor in July 2017. Prior to this, the university sued Rospotrebnadzor due to its decision to deprive the university of a license. The administration of St. Petersburg also unilaterally terminated the lease agreement with the university.

Since July, the European University has twice submitted applications for a new license, but Rosobrnadzor again discovered violations.
