More than 50 state institutions, almost 70 schools, more than 40 shopping and entertainment centers, all Moscow stations, more than 60 places of mass accumulation of people, about 15 hospitals and a clinic were evacuated.
In particular, the evacuation was held in the Moscow City Duma, Mosobledum, Moscow Region Zhukovsky Airport, editorial offices of the Echo of Moscow radio station, Mariott Hotel on New Arbat, the Ostankino District Administration, the Ostankinsky Municipal District, the Eldar Cinema, the Eldar Business Center and the Business Center of the Orbitra and Zadania Analytical Center under the Government, MAI and the University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The presence of explosive devices was also checked by Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo airports, but there was no evacuation there.
There were also reports of mining the shopping centers “Okhotnoye Ryed”, “Troika”, “Kaleidoscope”, “Atrium”, “Megapolis”, “Oceania”, “Good”, “Moskovorechye”, “Filion”, “Golden Babylon”, “Ikea Teply Story”, “Schuka”, two centers “Mega” and two Auchan hypermarkets.
Later, about 350 visitors were taken out of the Luzhniki sports complex.
Calls about the laid bombs came from morning to late at night.
The day before, the director of the FSB, Alexander Bortnikov, said that the special service calculated the organizers of the wave of "telephone terrorism" . According to him, these are four Russian citizens who are abroad. They have accomplices within the country, added Bortnikov.

Most calls about allegedly laid bombs come from the territory of Ukraine, interfax sources have reported. RIA Novosti sources, in turn, said that the Islamic State is behind calls. The data of sources of RBC, calls were carried out with IP addresses from Brussels, and behind them can be an "international hacker group", which will soon demand money to stop messages about explosions.
In addition to police officers, the search for "telephone terrorists" is conducted by operatives of regional UFSB, as well as specialists of the central apparatus of special services in combating terrorism, counteracting cybercrime and protecting the constitutional system.
Several people are detained. However, they turned out to be imitators who reported mining, learning about the mass telephone attack from the media and social networks. Unlike the organizers of the action, they used ordinary phones, not IP-telephony.
On September 15, Vedomosti reported that the FSB banned the press service of the law enforcement agencies to comment on mass evacuation due to the calls of “telephone terrorists”, “in order not to pump panic and not provoke others who want to engage in telephone terrorism.”
