The police detained the Tomsk regional coordinator of the Open Russia movement Aleksey Pryanishnikov, he is suspected of possessing extremist literature. It is reported by Open Russia. Pryanishnikov was taken to the police department of the Sovetsky district of Tomsk.
“As soon as I drove away from the office, four or five traffic police crews and a police car immediately appeared. The employees came up and said that they had received an orientation allegedly about the presence of extremist literature in my car,” Pryanishnikov told the publication. He emphasized that the branch of Open Russia would not participate in the rally of Navalny's supporters on October 7th.
