
The Basmanny Court of Moscow agreed to transfer to the house arrest of the former chief accountant of the Seventh Studio (founded by the artistic director of the Gogol Center Theater Kirill Serebrennikov) Nina Maslyaeva. It is reported by Interfax .
The investigation petitioned for the release of Maslyaeva from the pre -trial detention center. The Investigative Committee explained that it "actively cooperates with the investigation, reported information about previously unknown circumstances of the crimes committed and gave exposing evidence for participants in the criminal group."
In court, the investigator said that Maslyaeva in June "concluded a pre -trial agreement, during interrogations and confrontations, reported the information that was exposing other defendants that found confirmation." The ex-accountant itself indicated that she suffers from diabetes and coronary heart disease.
During the investigation, Maslyaeva admitted her guilt, spoke about cashing money for the “seventh studio” and testified against Serebrennikov and other defendants in the case. The defense of the director believes that she agreed to herself.
As part of the case of fraud in the Seventh Studio, the charges of embezzlement of 68 million rubles were brought by Serebrennikov, former general producer of the studio, Alexei Malobrodsky and former General Director Yuri Itin. They all did not admit guilt. Malobrodsky is in jail, Serebrennikov and Itin - under house arrest. On October 6, a preliminary investigation in the case was extended until January 19, 2018.
